High Efficiency Heating &Air Conditioning Systems.
This is one of me most efficient furnaces you can buy.
Engineered for comfort and efficiency, the Elite® Series G61V has energy ratings of up to 95% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency). It's hard to find a furnace more efficient than that. Among its energy-saving features is a variable speed motor that uses about two-thirds less electricity than a standard motor, lowering your utility bills without sacrificing comfort.
The variable speed motor moves at different speeds to closely control the flow of air throughout your home. This provides a smarter balance of comfort. And unlike typical single-stage furnaces, the G61V has two stages of heating - first stage/low heat for mild days and second stage/high heat for extremely cold days. You're always warm and cozy no matter what the weather.
As reliable as it is efficient.
Every component of the G61V is rigorously tested in our dedicated research lab. As a result, you can count on your new furnace to deliver the highest possible levels of reliability and performance.
Peace of mind.
The G61V comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a 5-year limited warranty on all remaining covered components.
Money-saving energy efficiency.
With efficiency ratings of up to 95% AFUE, the G61V can save you hundreds of dollars each year on utility bills, compared to older and standard-efficiency furnaces.
AFUE stands for "Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency" and is a measure of a furnace's efficiency and performance. Like the miles-per-gallon rating on your car, the higher the AFUE rating, the lower your fuel costs.Typical furnace ratings range from 80% to 95%.
This chart depicts potential energy savings you can expect from the G61V furnace, versus older furnaces with lower efficiency ratings. Criteria used in this example are 2,000 full-load heating hours, with a 60,000 Btuh heating design load and $1,368 ccf for gas. Your actual savings may vary, depending on the weather patterns in your local area, local fuel rates and your individual lifestyle.
Efficiency makes an impact on your utility bills
As the “most efficient single-stage air conditioner you can buy,”* the XC17 minimizes energy usage to help lower energy bills and help the environment. Those savings can add up to hundreds of dollars over five years. Plus, efficiency ratings of up to 18.00 SEER means it may be eligible for federal energy tax credits.
Quieter than any other cooling system
Lennox’ patented SilentComfort™ technology and unique design make the XC17 “the quietest central air conditioner you can buy.”
SEER stands for “Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio” and is a measure of the cooling efficiency of air conditioners. The higher the SEER, the greater your energy savings. Typical SEER ratings start at 13.00, but the XC17 carries ratings as high as 18.00.
Savings chart compares the 5-year savings you can expect from a 18.00 SEER air conditioner vs. existing equipment with a 10.00 SEER rating and industry-standard equipment with a 13.00 SEER rating. The regions used to calculate household fuel and utility costs reflect a cross-section of cities in the U.S. In addition to geography, cooling costs indicated are based on 3-ton capacity specifications, with 1,600 cooling hours per year and 11.35 cents per KWh (Source: EIA National average electric rate—Rolling 12 months ending in July 2009). Your actual costs may vary depending on the weather, local fuel rates, system settings and your personal lifestyle.
